Lovebugs danced through the air, celebrating the eternal embrace of lovers throughout time and beyond. In the distance, a majestic gray Arabian horse munched on grass, her elegant neck bent downward until she became one with the earth. Massive spider webs stretched from tree limbs to the ground, catching unsuspecting insects in their invisible traps. In the early morning, coated with beads of dew, the death traps revealed themselves in beauty and mystery.
It is in this paradise I sit, alone, basking in the magic of my surroundings. The breeze cools my skin. It’s been hot, very hot, for months that seemed to have no end. Even the horses seem happier in the new coolness.
Nice!
This is beautiful!!!
this is awesome, Renee.
i have only one question, did you get permission from those bugs to take a picture of them while they were sharing an intimate moment?
let’s hope it doesn’t reach the tabloids, you could be sued!
I took the horse picture, but not the bugs. Although, there are enough of them. A couple killed themselves with my windshield wipers the other day. It was tragic.
Anyway, thanks for the compliments. I’m not sure where I’m going with this. I wrote it while Emma was having her lesson last week. I love this new computer. It’s so easy to take places like that.
you’re a good poet. you can write poems.
